Welcome to the Vetnio blog
A new home for our writing on AI in veterinary care, clinical workflows, and what we're learning while building Vetnio.
This is the first post on the Vetnio blog. We'll use it to share what we're working on, what we're learning from the 300+ clinics and 45,000 vets using Vetnio today, and what we think the next decade of veterinary care looks like.
What we'll write about
We won't post for the sake of posting. Expect three kinds of writing:
- Field reports — what's actually happening in clinics using AI day-to-day. Numbers, before/after, surprises.
- Product thinking — why we built something a certain way, what we considered, what we ruled out.
- Industry research — short pieces on the science, regulation, and economics of veterinary medicine.
Why now
Veterinary medicine is one of the last large fields where most documentation is still written by hand. Every vet we talk to spends roughly 30% of their day on notes, referral letters, and admin work. That number hasn't changed in decades.
Vetnio exists to give that time back. The blog exists to share what we learn along the way.
